Compact and lightweight, the express microwave sterilizer saves time by sterilizing six 9-ounce Classic bottles, or twin AVENT breast pump parts and two Classic bottles, in just two minutes. This unit includes clear instructions on how to properly load the plastic rack, position the lid, and lock the clips into place. After microwaving, the safety grips allow for easy removal of the sterilizer from the microwave. If the lid remains closed, the contents will stay sterile for up to 24 hours.

AVENT Classic nipples are soft and naturally shaped to promote proper latch-on. Their shape also makes it easier to transition back and forth from breast to bottle feeding.
The Classic AVENT bottles feature an anti-colic valve in the nipple that flexes to let air into the bottle, not in a baby's tummy where it can lead to gas and other discomfort. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: 1. The 9 oz bottles are a great size which grows with your baby - the bottles have only three parts to wash, the bottle, the cap, the nipple. I do not deem the microwave sterilizer necessary, as I believe the baby needs to "get used to" our living environment and build up his/her harm resistance gradually. According to Wikipedia, "Bisphenol A is an endocrine disruptor, which can mimic the body's own hormones and may lead to negative health effects.[27][28][29][30] Early development appears to be the period of greatest sensitivity to its effects,[31] and some studies have linked prenatal exposure to later neurological difficulties.
